I wanted to sleep in this morning but the husband was up before 6 to go skiing and once I saw that bright sunshine pouring through my windows I just had to get up too. That’s ok cause I made myself the BEST breakfast!
An oatmeal pancake topped with cinnamon, carmelized bananas and maple syrup along with scrambled eggs with cinnamon. A bite of heaven if you ask me 😉
Now I’m off to enjoy the sun and fresh air for a 4-5 mile run, back for a little yoga cool down and then into town to meet up with a friend and get a much-needed manicure! I’m not sure how long I’ll be out and about so I’m packing this with me incase I get hungry:
Coconut milk yogurt with some vanilla egg white protein powder, blueberries, blackberries and flax meal. I absolutely LOVE coconut milk yogurt but it only has 1 gram of protein per serving and since I need to watch my protein intake I’ve decided to start pumping up the protein level with rice, hemp or egg white protein powders.
Well, gotta run!
